Bigger than Boxing

Today's youth are under immense pressure from academics, social challenges, and digital media. The American Psychological Association reports that 70% of teens experience stress, with 20% facing extreme stress. Traditional therapy often doesn't connect with young people or provide a physical outlet for their stress. Studies show that physical activities like boxing can reduce stress by up to 25% and significantly improve mental health.

Impact Therapy is a nonprofit program for the youth that combines boxing and therapeutic conversations to promote mental and physical wellness.

Success Story Testimonial

I have recommended Impact therapy to so many families as well as to our son’s former OT. I have had so much experience with so many forms of therapy for myself and my children and this is hands down the best version, especially for my son and even myself. I am happy to share this with the world!

Making an Impact for Individuals and Families

Alexa Young

The family dynamic has gotten so much better. Both in relation to us parents with our son but also with his little sister. He has a lot more patience for her and more of an understanding that she is younger and different. Impact therapy has helped a lot with this dynamic.

Morgan James

Our son was seeing an occupational therapist but had outgrown the space and activities. So when Impact therapy was launched we thought let’s give it a try. I never expected it to be such a game changer for my son but I attribute so much of his improvement in mood, anxiety and behavior to Jake’s Impact therapy

Lisa Driver

Driven by the anxiety, he has trouble trying new foods but with Jake’s help both for us parents and just by talking to our son, our son learned about the importance of nutrition. He is now eating a variety of foods including steak, salmon and even broccoli!!!
